LiCense to carry (LTC) classes

This 4-hour course is a combination of lectures, firearms handling, and shooting. The shooting experience will allow you to receive a "Live-Fire" stamp on your LTC which is a requirement in Springfield and Chicopee.

Note: The minimum age for a LTC in MA is 21. 

MA Residents must have a Firearms Identification (FID) card  in order to: 

• Purchase, possess, or transport a rifle or shotgun that is not a large-capacity gun; 
• Purchase or possess ammunition or component parts of ammunition;
• Purchase or possess defense sprays for anyone age 15-17, a license is not required for 18+

MA Residents must have a License to Carry (LTC) firearms in order to: 

• Purchase, possess or transport a handgun, large capacity rifle, or large-capacity shotgun.  
• Purchase, possess, or transport all guns and materials that would be covered by an FID.

If you're married or live with your partner and you keep a handgun or large-capacity rifle/shotgun in the dwelling, your spouse or partner should have a LTC.

If you will be inheriting a handgun or large-capacity rifle/shotgun you should get your LTC.
